Christmas Donations

In lieu of the traditional corporate Christmas gift, this year donations have been made to Field of Dreams, Autism Ireland, and The Irish Guide Dogs. We feel the best gift we can give is the gift of helping others and we thought that these charities would be a great choice.

Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind

We recently visited The Irish Guide Dogs Headquarters and Training Centre at the Model Farm Road, Cork.

The Irish Guide Dogs is dedicated to assisting those with vision impairments and the families of children with autism to achieve improved mobility, to lead better lives and to become more independent.

All of the national charities training programmes are run at the Model Farm Road location. Clients partaking in courses stay at the Centre for the duration of their training – With some courses lasting up to three weeks!

It costs over €5 million to run the organisation each year with over 85% of the income coming from voluntary donations and fundraising.
