Benefits of the Combined Course

This combined course allows sea-going personnel to attend all five mandatory STCW courses in one week. The combined course is of great benefit to both attendees and employers as it eliminates the need to travel to different venues and on different dates. Travel time, cost and overall duration is reduced substantially by combining the courses.

Course Objectives

To give basic STCW required training in Personal Survival Technique (PST), Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR), Basic First Aid, Basic Ship Security and Basic Fire Training. The training course provides mandatory training to allow sea going personnel with the basic knowledge required to take up sea-going employment.

Target Audience

This combined STCW course is aimed at ALL seafaring personnel. All seafarers must pass all five elements of this course before going to sea. These STCW courses are a mandatory requirement.

Just to thank all of the instructors who gave the STCW 95 Fire Fighting course, it was one of the best courses I have attended. The fact that all of the instructors were firemen and had the practical experience to back up the course made all the difference”.
