Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland Announces Launch of Health and Safety Guide for Screen Industry

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland (Screen Ireland) have announced details of their newly developed Health and Safety Guide which will provide guidance on best practice in health and safety for all professionals working in film and television.

Through providing practical advice both for employers and crew members and the raising of standards of awareness around safe working practices, this guide aims to promote a safer and healthier workplace environment for all of those working in the Irish screen sector.

Chris Mee Group are delighted to have been involved in the development of the Health and Safety Guide alongside Screen Producers Ireland, Screen Guilds of Ireland, SIPTU, and the wider industry to provide guidance on best practice in health and safety for all professionals working in film and television.

The document which will be launched at an online panel discussion event on December 8^th, will outline best practice, it will cover the key health and safety legislation, and will direct users to other relevant bodies and resources, including relevent risk assessment templates.
