Course Outline:

FÁS / SOLAS Safe Pass courses are legally required for all construction and site security workers. CMSE Training instructors are highly experienced in construction and are registered with FAS / SOLAS.  Under SI291 of the 2013 Construction Regulation, Section 25, Schedule 4: Safe pass courses are renewable every 4 years. CMSE Training carry out nationwide training. Our locations include: Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway & many more.

Course Objectives
  • Raise industry status of safety awareness
  • Ensure all site personnel undergo training
  • Maintain a register of trained personnel
  • Provide all participants with a Safe Pass Card

Attendee Requirements:

  • PPS Number Number
  • Two passport sized photos
  • Stamped self-addressed envelope
  • Good standard of English

Additional Information for candidates without an Irish PPS number:

Non Irish Nationals, working on a main contract in the Republic of Ireland and employed by a subcontracting company, must provide additional documentation in order to apply for a Safe Pass course:
The documentation must contain:


          Letter from their employer confirming the following:
  • Employment status of the candidate(s) and details of the work being carried out
  • Name, address and email address of their employer
  • Name, address and contact details of the main contractor and the site location they are working on
  • o The candidate’s National Security Number(s)


2) Identification of the candidate(s) requiring Safe Pass i.e. copy of Passport or Drivers Licence
