This awareness day, if required, would also give safe working knowledge of the appropriate actions to take upon encountering asbestos or for planned minor asbestos works.

Course Details

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Exposure to Asbestos) Regulations 2006 require employer to protect employees from exposure to asbestos.
Participants: Up to 10 personnel
Duration: Half/one day depending on requirements

Who is this course intended for?

Building and premises owners and anyone else who has responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. The awareness day (half day) will also be particularly useful for those who currently are at most risk from inadvertent exposure to asbestos such as maintenance personnel, electricians, plumbers, fitters, painters and decorators, demolition and construction workers, roofers, telecommunications engineers, fire and burglar alarm installers, computer installers and building surveyors.
