FETAC Occupational First Aid Course / First Aid Response (FAR) Training Course

Did you know?

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, there is a requirement on employers based on a risk assessment to have a sufficient number of Occupational First Aiders trained and deployed in the workplace.

From the 1st January 2018 the Health & Safety Authority will only recognise PHECC approved Occupational First Aid training in Ireland. The Authority states it will continue dual recognition of the QQI SN1207 and PHECC FAR standard up to December 31st 2017.

From the 1st January 2018 First Aid Response Education and Training Standard (FAR) is the new minimum Occupational First Aid qualification for all workplace first aiders.
