Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a full plan for getting and maintaining relevant quality, environmental and health & safety management system standards
- Developing a full operating manual that documents and captures all procedures in line with relevant ISO and other quality standards
- Maintaining a relevant, up to date and comprehensive safety statement
- Maintaining a complete register of method statements and risk assessments relating to all aspects of jobs
- Developing an in depth understanding of technical processes and methods used throughout company operations
- Ensuring prompt and systematic training and induction of all staff
- Maintaining accurate records of training, Safe Pass, driving licences and other relevant qualifications and certification
- Anticipating and reacting swiftly to business needs and key developments with appropriate viable quality and H&S solutions (Refer to item 2.4 of the Safety statement for specific health and safety responsibilities within the system).
- Maintaining knowledge of legal, industry best practice and other standards in both quality and health and safety domains
- Contribute to tender and sales documentation and support Sales, Operations, Project Administration and other internal functions.
- Implement weekly vehicle inspections
- Dispense Tool Box talks

Information:
- The predominately office-based position will involve database work along with literature research, data acquisition and interpretation of geological data.
- The job will be based at our head office but may involve travel abroad.
- Experience with MapInfo/Discover or ArcGIS is essential.
