The purpose of these courses is to comply with the international Marine legal requirement for watch-keeping personnel serving as ships officers and crew.  The training is of the very highest quality and personnel will be trained in how to operate fire protection equipment on a vessel to the required standard of competency.  The training will also instill an awareness of the dangers involved in sea-going fire situations.
 
Target Audience

Marine Watchkeepers and Seafarers with responsibility for fire-fighting and responding to a fire and rescue situation on board ship.

Assessment and accreditation

Participants will be examined during the practical session and will also have to complete a written examination.

Department of Transport Approved and full CMSE certification will be provided on successful completion of the course.
