Course Title:   Forklift Stacker\Reach Conversion Course

Course Objectives

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Carry out pre use checks
  2. Refuel/recharge Forklifts safely
  3. Operate a Reach\Stacker Truck safely, reducing the risk of damage or injury to operators and pedestrians and increase the efficiency of Operators
  4. Use safe operating techniques
  5. Correctly position Forklift in relation to task requirements
  6. Stack and de-stack various loads

Target Audience

The course is intended experienced forklift truck drivers wishing to get certification on either a stacker or reach truck.

  2. Daily Inspection Procedures
  3. Stability
  4. General Safety Rules
  5. Loading and Stacking Procedures
  6. De-stacking and Unloading
  7. Maintenance
  8. Fuelling Procedures including Charging of Batteries

Assessment

Each student is required to pass a theory and practical test.

Accreditation

Full CMSE certification is provided on successful completion of the course.
