FETAC Certified Occupational First Aid Training Courses
CMSE provides this excellent FETAC Certified Occupational First Aid Course nationally and is aimed at people who wish to become Certified Occupational First Aiders. The course is run by CMSE on either a public or a private basis. There is a strict limit of 10 participants on each course. On completion of the course, participants will be expected to take an official FETAC recognised examination. The aim of the course is to train the attendees to:
- Provide necessary first aid within the workplace
- Deal with emergencies while awaiting the arrival of emergency services

This is a FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) accredited course. FETAC is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. All of our instructors are registered with the Occupational First Aid Assessment Agent (OFAAA) and our course is run in full accordance with Health and Safety Authority guidelines.
Full certification is provided on successful completion of the course. Certification is valid for two years.
