Applicable Irish Legislation

First Aid and First Aid training now comes under legislation i.e. the General Application Regulations 2007.   An Occupational First Aider is defined as someone who is "trained and qualified in first aid" in Part 7 of the General Application Regulations 2007. 
 
Occupational First Aid deals with the types of injuries that would be likely to occur at your workplace. Courses are designed to train employees in the correct response to any workplace emergency. Our Occupational First Aid Certificates comply with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act (General Applications 2007 (SI No. 299/2007)) and certification is valid for 2 years and includes AED (Defibrillation) training as per FETAC Level 5 Module D20188.
