Evacuation Planning
On completion of this course participants will:
- Have a greater understanding of the fire precautions that are built into your workplace
- Recognise the hazards and the threat posed by fire to people, property and jobs
- Demonstrate an understanding of the nature and behaviour of fire
- Understand the role and action to be taken in respect of:
- Discovering a fire
- Raising the alarm and action upon hearing the alarm
- Correct method of calling the brigade
- Evacuation of the building - Distinguish between the different types of extinguishers and the fires for which they are suited.
Target Audience
Fire Wardens and Emergency Response Team Management.

- The principles of design and management of the fire safety solution for your workplace
- Current legislation and legal responsibilities
- Methods of extinguishing and the practical use of fire fighting equipment.
- Emergency fire evacuation drills.

Assessment
Participants will be required to complete a short written test.
Accreditation
Full certification of attendance will be provided on successful completion of the course.
