Biomass Energy Training Course

This Biomass course is designed to provide a basis in wood burning/biomass heating technology and biomass installation. It provides the biomass training and skills required for biomass installation.

People with a National Craft Certificate – in Plumbing or Equivalent, who wish to further their knowledge of biomass energy, biomass stoves and biomass boilers. Candidates must show evidence of their qualification.

  • Standards of wood fuel and wood pellets

Up to 15 Participants

Assessment will consist of two written examination papers running 1.5 hours in duration.

  • FETAC Level 6 Biomass Heating System. Successful completion of the course gives participants the opportunity to register with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI).
