Legislation

CMSE provide independent professional and practical advice on your duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Exposure to Asbestos) Regulations 2006. These regulations require an employer or those in control of a workplace to carry out a detailed Risk Assessment completed by a competent person prior to any work related activity which may disturb asbestos containing materials and result in exposure to asbestos.

Our Asbestos consultants can complete air sampling on site followed by fiber counting under a phase contrast microscope to determine the levels of respirable asbestos fibers present. Our Asbestos consultants can complete bulk sampling on site and have these samples analysed in a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited laboratory.
